PHOTOS: DEJI ADEYANJU, ARRESTED BY POLICE OFFICERS IN FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRTIORY ABUJA

Co-convener of pro-democracy group, Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, has been arrested by the police in Abuja. According to reports, Deji is being held at the FCT police command.
Deji started a daily sitout at the Unity fountain yesterday, demanding the release of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria aka Shiites, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky. The police reportedly stormed the Univty fountain this morning and threw teargas at the protesters. The officers thereafter picked up Deji and other leaders of the group.
